Homemade Teriyaki Sauce is super easy and way better than store-bought! Made with simple ingredients you can pronounce, this is going to become a staple in your family.

Ingredients

  

  • 1 cup low sodium soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 3 garlic cloves minced
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon fresh grated ginger
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch

Instructions

  • In a medium sized saucepan over medium high heat whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, garlic, sesame oil, and ginger. Heat it to a simmer.
  • In a small bowl whisk together the water and cornstarch. Slowly whisk into the saucepan. Whisk the sauce constantly until it starts to thicken.
  • Remove from heat and cool.
