The chilly days of fall are coming and it’s time to grab some comfort food. Tender beef tips & egg noodles fill bill. Using a beef stew and simmering it for a few hours makes it tender and succulent. Perfect for a fall evening.
This comforting fall meal is the meal to make. Braised and slow cooked beef is used until cooked through.
The boiling broth is then thickened into a flavorful broth. The beef and broth are served over egg noodles. This is a delicious recipe for beef tips & noodles.
One of the reasons for the high price of meat is the epidemic. People started buying more to maintain their stock. Supplies are starting to dwindle while demand is high, so beef prices are going up.
°2 pounds sirloin steak, (round steak, eye-eye of your choice), trimmed and cubed
°1 white onion, finely chop
°2 cans of cream of mushroom soup
°1 cup of milk
°Half a cup of red wine vinegar
°1 packet of Lipton Beef & Onion Soup
°2 packages egg noodles (32 ounces, cooked and drained)
The first step:
Placing Dutch oven on medium-high heat
Add 1 tablespoon of olive oil
The second step:
Add the diced meat and the chopped onion
Brown the meat and cook until the onion has softened slightly
In a bowl, combine milk, two cans of cream of mushroom soup, red wine vinegar and Lipton Onion Soup Mix.
When the soup has blended, add it to the pot along with the meat and onions
The fourth step:
Cook until it begins to boil
Reduce heat, and simmer 4 hours, or until beef tips are tender
When the meat is done, add the cooked pasta
Stir well to combine and simmer 5 to 10 minutes, stirring frequently
